Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then OilCast.

I'm not getting alerts.
Make sure alerts are on (the bell on the Today screen) and that notifications are allowed in Settings › Notifications › OilCast. Alerts arrive about a minute after the EIA report at 9:30 AM CT on Wednesdays.

Why is the price a few days old?
OilCast's free price data comes from the U.S. government, which publishes it with a delay. The date is always shown next to the price.

Where does the data come from?
The U.S. Energy Information Administration, FRED, the CFTC and the National Hurricane Center.
